Fellow Gigglers,
Tough lost but great comeback at the end, we just ran out of innings...might have had a different outcome if we had our ace on the mound to bowl down their big hitters!!! This reminds me of a quote from Earl Weaver: "Nobody likes to hear it, because it's dull, but the reason you win or lose is darn near always the same - pitching."
What's more important, we had a great post game turnout sharing good times, food and laughs at Willys which incidently brings another quote to mind (don't know from whom): "Win as if you were used to it, lose as if you enjoyed it for a change.”
